Aliadiere can’t wait for Mido return

FRENCH forager Jeremie Aliadiere admitted today that the return of his fellow Boro striker Mido can’t come quickly enough.
Mido was originally pencilled into the squad for today’s trip to Blackburn Rovers, but has still not achieved peak fitness following his stress fracture of the pubic bone.
However, Mido might be back for next week’s FA Cup tie at Mansfield Town, and Aliadiere admitted that the Egyptian centre-forward had been conspicuous by his absence over the last three months.

Aliadiere said: “We have missed Mido while he has been injured so it’s good to see that he is very close to coming back. He is a good player and he is a strong player in the Premier League.
“We saw when he first arrived what he can give to us and so it has been disappointing that he has been injured.
“Mido is a useful player in the system that we play because we can play around him. It has been difficult playing without him.”
